Home-Improvement In The Lands of Wood (Part 1) – Refashioning Light And Fan Switches

It all began with dirtied light and fan switches, an idle mind, an unoccupied pair of hands and a tutorial on how to beautify light switches that stick out like sore thumbs.

Next came the trip to good ‘ole Diaso (to my non-Singaporean friends, it is absolutely the BEST $2 store in SG! Everything is for $2! No gimmicks!). Bought a bunch of craft supplies that included the Japanese floral paper that inspired this project and the Ikea lampshade refashioning.

These are the switches to be worked on:

The first two sets of switches in the living and dinning areas respectively done! The floral print and colours go well with the overall feel of the house. HAPPY! šŸ˜€
